It was small boats this week with 2 pairs and a 4x. The course opened fairly late so some of us took the opportunity to get some mileage on the ergs. When we got on the water the weather was distinctly better than forecast, with only a few spots of rain. We had a returning visitor from last week in the other pair.
For Yamamoto-san and I it was time for some UT2 training. For most of the training the split remained stubbornly high despite our best efforts; I was definitely having issues efficiently transferring power to the water. We made the target split on the last lap though. No doubt we we assisted in that regard by Mura-san in a single who rather sportingly agreed to a bit of sparing. Plenty of things to focus on for next weeks practice.
